Since Tuesday, March 25, a new milestone has been reached in the evolution of visual radio in France. From now on, listeners of the morning show ‘ICI Champagne-Ardenne‘ can also see their hosts and journalists on screen, thanks to the implementation of an automated video capture system developed by multiCAM Systems.

A Successful Transformation for the France Bleu – France 3 Network
📺 Broadcast live every morning from 6:30 to 9:00 AM on France 3 Champagne-Ardenne, Monday to Friday, this morning show represents a successful convergence between radio and regional television, offering a richer, more immersive, and more connected experience for viewers.
With this rollout, ‘ICI Champagne-Ardenne’ becomes the 39th visual morning show in the network. This number marks a significant milestone in the innovation strategy of the France Télévisions group, which continues its commitment to delivering local news that is visible, engaging, and dynamic.
This project perfectly illustrates the desire to bring journalists closer to their audience, to give a face to the voice, and to make regional news even more accessible, engaging, and easy to follow on screen. By embracing a visual format, radio gains in dynamism while preserving the essence of its close connection with listeners.
An Intuitive Technology for Seamless Production
To support this transformation, multiCAM Systems provided a turnkey solution designed to integrate seamlessly into the radio’s technical environment and operate either autonomously or in a semi-automated mode. Thanks to our intelligent robotic cameras and audio detection system, production runs smoothly without the need for constant manual intervention, while ensuring optimal broadcast quality.
Our solution adapts to the specific needs of each studio and enables real-time production, even with a reduced technical staff. All of this with a simple interface and maximum compatibility with existing audio tools.

A Great Collective Adventure
This project would not have come to life without the involvement and coordination of several motivated and passionate teams. We would like to congratulate the technical and editorial teams of France 3 Champagne-Ardenne, France Bleu, and France Télévisions for their trust and commitment.”
The Future of Radio Also Lies in Video 🎬
At multiCAM Systems, we firmly believe that the future of radio is hybrid, combining the emotional impact of voice with the power of visuals. Visual radio allows for the modernization of formats, reaching new audiences (especially on social media and digital platforms), and enhancing the visibility of local content in an ever-evolving media landscape.
We are proud to contribute to this evolution by bringing our technical expertise to the service of proximity, regional news, and audiovisual innovation.
